OBP - Optical Bypass Protection
Product Overview
HYD Technology offers OBP, which is a system that proves to be an intelligent switching system developed to cater the optical fiber communication that allows it to bypass the distorted network nodes automatically.
This module can identify the power supply status automatically and the network nodes’ status; hence, if the node faults, it can bypass the optical path. To prevent the SDH network from being disconnected from the network nodes, it works well and ensures network connectivity maintenance.
- This module supports single as well as multi-mode bypass protection.
- It carries out the function of maintaining the power state down the optical path.
- It carries out the support of selective receiving and selective transmitting protection methods in a ratio of 1:1.
- It also bypasses with either heartbeat or amplification; even if the equipment fails to work, this could be bypassed.
- It has a monitoring range between -50dBm to +25dBm and supports local and remote control.
- SNMP-based unified network management is offered, followed by other network management, like CLI, graphical interface, etc.
