DCM/DCF - Fixed Dispersion Compensation Module
Product Overview
HYD Technology has developed a DCM/DCF fixed dispersion compensation module to resolve the fiber’s dispersion issues. It is created to resolve the problems of long-distance and high-speed communication systems. This module also helps resolve the standard single-mode fiber dispersion compensation.
DCM/DCF offers a slope compensation function that performs the dispersion slope compensation with a wide band and performs C-band for the standard single-mode fiber.
It helps in the optimization of the residual dispersion in the system, and it is based on fiber optic technology that allows for the improvement of the performance of optical transmission systems.
This module offers a dispersion range of 1550nm wavelength and can reach -10 to -2100ps/nm; also, it supports the special products that need center wavelength dispersion.

Application:
This DCM/DCF module by HYD Technology is used in optical fiber communications to compensate for the dispersion for a transmission fiber that is too long. It also compensates for the cumulative dispersion in a single-mode fiber.
