This optical transceiver has many features, and some of these are as follows:

- It has a hot-pluggable QSFP56 form factor and supports an aggregate bit rate of 212.5 Gbps.
- The maximum length it could offer is of 2Km, and that too on a single-mode fiber.
- The power supply offered by this transceiver is a 3.3V single one, and the commercial case temperatures lie between 0 degrees and 70 degrees.

- It also has a CWDM transmitter which is DFB based on 4x50G, and an electrical interface of 200GAUI-4 retimed 4x50G
- It comes with LC receptacles which are duplex and an I2C management interface.
