The transceiver modules suitable for use in a 100-gigabit ether link for up to 10 Km of single-mode fiber could be RTXM 290-806 LR4 QSFP28. It complies with SFF-8636, IEEE802.3ba-2010, SFF-8679, and some areas of IEEE 802.3 bm-2015, followed by RoHS.

- The transmitter of this module is 4x25G NRZ DFB-based LAN-WDM, and the electrical interface is 4×25 NRZ with a CAUI-4 electrical interface.
- The ethernet link covered by this module is up to 10 Km in single-mode fiber and has duplex LC receptacles and an I2C management interface.
